What is NWESS?
The Northwest Energy Systems Symposium (NWESS) is an IEEE-sponsored event organized every two years by a group of local utilities, companies, and the University of Washington to inform the power system engineering community about new technologies and important developments that affect the industry.

The closest option is the central parking garage, entrance on 15th Ave NE and NE 41st.

- Continue up the view axis past the fountain
- Just before the steps up to Red Square turn left (west) on Grant Lane.
- Continue west past the gatehouse and across 15th Ave to 40th Street.
- Continue west on 40th for a block and a half (cross University Ave).
- Alder Commons is on the right, 1310 NE 40th Street.

How do I register as a student?
Students can register using their university email account with an *.edu address.
What does the registration fee cover?
Participation in all the sessions, including the breakout discussion sessions.
I registered but cannot attend. Can I get a refund?
We are unfortunately unable to refund your registration fee. However, we are happy to welcome a substitute attendee from your organization.
Can I get a copy of the presentations?
